Canadian Permanent Residence –Skilled Immigrants (Express Entry) are chosen as permanent residents based on their ability to settle in Canada. They will be assessed according to their English/French language skills, education, work experience and other factors that have been shown to help newcomers prosper in Canada:
- Federal Skilled Worker
- Federal Skilled Trades
- Canadian Experience Class
Provincial Nomination Programs
Most provinces and territories in Canada have an agreement with the Government of Canada that lets them nominate immigrants who want to settle there. In many cases, the candidate must apply directly to a province or territory to be considered under its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
FAMILY SPONSORSHIP
Eligible Canadian citizens or permanent residents are able to sponsor their spouses, dependent children, parents and grandparents for Canadian permanent resident status.
TEMPORARY RESIDENT PERMIT
Individuals that are successful in obtaining a TR will be allowed to enter Canada for a specific period of time notwithstanding any existing inadmissibility issues.
VISITOR VISA
Foreign nationals who want to visit Canada as a tourist and they must meet certain entry requirements.
